Illness - KEEPING OUR COMMUNITY SAFE & HEALTHY
To help prevent the spread of illness and maintain a healthy environment for all children and staff, we kindly ask that parents and guardians keep children home if they are showing signs of illness. Please do not send your child or caregiver to class if they exhibit any of the following:
A fever – children, parents and caregivers must be fever-free for at least 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication before returning.
A deep or persistent cough.

Other signs of contagious illness such as vomiting, diarrhea, unexplained rashes, or general lethargy.
If your child displays any of these symptoms while at Ume Ume Music + Arts, we will contact you or an emergency contact to pick them up promptly.
It is important for the health of our community that you keep your child home when they are not feeling well. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as increasingly dangerous RSV, Cold and Flu seasons, we have adopted a zero tolerance policy for illnesses or symptoms of illness.
